Game Overview

I always enjoy seeing game providers who have a little play on words with their slot titles, and you don’t need to be a genius to work out what the name of today’s game review rhymes with. Okay, so let’s get straight into it, and the BGaming slot Clucking Hell is a Halloween-themed game with cluster pays, big multipliers, free spins, and a maximum win of 6,666x the bet.

Theme & Design

I’ve always felt that BGaming are somewhat of an underrated developer in iGaming, with many of their releases being high quality with regard to their graphics and presentation. The same can be said for Clucking Hell, which has crisp clear symbols, slick animations, and the overall feel of a well-polished game developed by a team of skilled designers.

This is the part where I send you off in the direction of other games that resemble what we’re looking at today, and once you’ve had a few spins on Clucking Hell, you’ll realise that it’s very much like a couple of the slots in the Pragmatic Play portfolio. If you’re wondering which ones, head on over to our Sugar Rush demo and Sugar Rush 1000 demo, where you’ll see similar mechanics in action.

Clucking Hell Gameplay & Features

BGaming’s Clucking Hell is a 5-reel, 5-row online slot operating on the cluster pays engine with an RTP of 96.23%. Betting options are relatively standard, with stakes starting at a minimum of €0.20 a spin and maxing out at €20.

As Clucking Hell is a cluster pays game, you’ll find the tumbling reels mechanic present in the gameplay, removing winning symbols from the playfield and replacing them with new ones. Furthermore, each time a symbol is removed, it leaves a pentagram behind. If another win is then formed on the same space, a multiplier appears of 2x, with each win increasing these up to a max of 256x in the base game and 666x in the bonus features.

Speaking of which, the free spins feature is triggered when 3 or 4 scatters land in view, awarding the following:

  • 3 Scatter Trigger: 12 free spins, with 3 replicator cells already active.
  • 4 Scatter Trigger: 12 free spins, with 4 replicator cells already active.

During the free spins, it’s possible that replicator cells copy the highest replicator cell multiplier to all other replicator cells. This can lead to some huge multiplier values being present, potentially giving you a shot at winning big.

Bonus Buy

Those of you who wish to spin with more risk, may choose from the following enhanced bet and bonus buy options:

  • Bonus Boost: Each spin is 300% more likely to trigger the bonus – Costs 3x the base bet.
  • Hell Spins: Each spin starts with replicator cells all active on 64x – Costs 90x the bet.
  • 3 Scatter Trigger – Costs 100x the base bet.
  • 4 Scatter Trigger – Costs200x the base bet.

Pros

  • Outstanding design with quality graphics.
  • Big multipliers can be added in the free spins.
  • Good choice of enhanced bets.

Cons

  • The max win fits in with the theme, but pushing it past 10,000x would have been better.
  • Some may find it too similar to the Pragmatic releases.

Clucking Hell Slot Review Final Thoughts

Clucking Hell most certainly shares lots of characteristics with Pragmatic Play's Sugar Rush series, but it does more than enough to stand out as a quality release, and one we highly recommend you give a try.
