Game Overview
Cash Volt Supercharged is a remake of Red Tiger’s 2020 release, Cash Volt. Featuring 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 paylines, this high-volatility slot retains the original’s cash ladder mechanic while adding new bonus modes, expanded symbols, and a maximum win potential of 2,512x.
Theme & Design
The theme is unmistakably retro: neon lights, chrome finishes, and a pulsing synth soundtrack that really does make you feel as though you’ve stepped straight into a nightclub from the 1980s!
The reels themselves sit on a glowing purple platform surrounded by electric flashes, and it manages to keep things pretty sleek yet simple. Now, in terms of visuals, it looks almost identical to the original Cash Volt, but it’s slightly more polished, we feel.
If you’re new to Red Tiger Gaming slots and like Cash Volt Supercharged, you may also want to consider checking out Trophy Fish and Rise of Cleopatra.

Cash Vault Supercharged Gameplay & Features
Cash Volt Supercharged is designed around a five-reel, three-row layout, and you’ll find 20 fixed paylines in play at all times. Wins are formed by matching three or more symbols on adjacent reels from left to right. You can stake between €0.10 and €20 per spin. The game’s available in multiple RTP variations, but the default setting is 96.17%.
The central mechanic is the Cash Volt feature, where landing 6 to 15 Cash Volt symbols in one spin awards an instant prize from 7x to 2,500x your bet. The new Supercharged Cash Volt symbol expands across a full reel, effectively adding three symbols at once and boosting your chances of reaching higher ladder tiers.
There’s also the Volt Spins bonus, which, essentially, acts as a Hold & Win-style feature that’s triggered by landing two Volt Spins scatters on reels 1 and 5. It begins with 3 respins, which reset every time a new Cash Volt symbol appears.
During the round, only Cash Volt and Supercharged symbols can land. Supercharged Spins work the same way but allow only Supercharged symbols to appear, increasing the odds of hitting larger cash values. Finally, the Overvoltage Spins mode introduces a 3×3 “Super Reel” in the middle of the grid, where giant Cash Volt blocks can land for even larger wins.
Pros
- A simple game to understand and play.
- Three hold & win style bonus rounds.
- Superb visuals and a good maths model.
Cons
- Pretty low maximum win potential of just 2,500x.
- Almost identical to the original Cash Volt.
Cash Vault Supercharged Slot Review Final Thoughts
Cash Volt Supercharged is a pretty “safe” sequel to the original Cash Vault, and while it does offer some mild improvements, there’s not really anything new to get excited about here. We’re also quite surprised to see a sequel released with a maximum win potential of just 2,500x, as this doesn’t really make sense to us.
Sure, the expanded Supercharged symbols and multiple bonus rounds are a welcomed new addition, but the overall experience feels just way too similar compared to the original, and we’re not really sure why Red Tiger would release such a similar clone so many years later.
