Theme & Design

Candyways Bonanza and Candyways Bonanza 2 were both fairly successful releases for Stakelogic, so it’s hardly surprising to see them releasing a third instalment in the series.

Candyways Bonanza 3 sticks closely to its colourful sweet theme, and you’ll see the reels surrounded by doughnuts, wafers and delicious-looking sweets! The presentation, like the previous games, is cheerful, and bright. Yes, the game is quite busy, visually, but it also feels… controlled. Stakelogic has done a pretty decent job with the look and feel of it, overall, and there’s a fitting soundtrack accompanying each spin, too!

Candyways Bonanza 3 uses a six-reel Megaways setup where each reel can display between two and seven symbols, delivering up to 117,649 ways to win. You can bet from €0.20 to €40 per spin, and the default RTP is 96.01%, although lower RTP configurations are available, too, so always try to make sure you’re playing the highest-RTP version possible.

Now, Candyways Bonanza 3 uses a Cascading Reels mechanic, so winning symbols are removed from the grid, allowing new symbols to drop down and potentially trigger additional wins. In both the base game and bonus round, you’ll notice the Wild Booster mechanic, too. On each spin, between one and four symbols on the top tracker reel can be highlighted. When this happens, all matching symbols directly below on the main reels are transformed into Wilds. If a Wild symbol itself is highlighted, all symbols beneath it also turn Wild.
