Slot Overview
Bunny Heist is a video slot from Peter & Sons that’s about as far-removed from bunny rabbits as you can get! Instead, this is a Playboy-like theme, with attractive women dressed in bunny outfits, with a casino-heist vibe, too. With Expanding Wilds, two bonus rounds, and a maximum win potential of up to 10,000x, the game looks promising on paper. How does it fare during real-world testing, though? Find out in our review.
Theme & Design
Bunny Heist adopts a colourful, slightly tongue-in-cheek casino robbery theme, and you’ll see bunny characters and different accomplices acting as the game’s core characters. The visual style is pretty bold, with high-contrast colours and oversized character symbols on the reels.
We actually feel a slight resemblance to NetEnt’s Hotline here, but it also shares some similarities with Hacksaw Gaming’s Miami Mayhem. Of course, Microgaming’s iconic Playboy slot also feels similar to this, but given the game’s age and the relatively small number of players still playing it, we tried to compare Bunny Heist to some more modern releases!

Bunny Heist Gameplay & Bonus Features
Bunny Heist is played on a five-reel, three-row layout, and the game uses ten fixed paylines. The game pays from both left to right and right to left, has an RTP of 96%, and allows you to stake between €0.10 and €50 per spin.
The base game revolves heavily around expanding Wilds that can land on reels 2, 3, and 4. When a Wild appears, it expands to cover the entire reel and becomes sticky, triggering a re-spin. During these re-spins, up to three expanding Wild reels can appear, quite a Starburst-like mechanic!
You will also see two different types of Scatter symbols in Bunny Heist. Free Spins Scatters trigger the Free Spins bonus when 3+ land, awarding you 7, 9, 12, 15, or 20 free games. During Free Spins, expanding Wilds can land on any reel and become sticky for the entire duration of the feature. Unlike the base game, however, the expanding Wilds in the bonus do not award respins.
The second Scatter symbol activates the Bonus Wheel game when three land on reels 2, 3, and 4. This bonus consists of four wheel levels. Levels 1 to 3 feature multipliers alongside “UP” and “END” segments, with spins continuing until an END result appears or until you reach Level 4, the final wheel. Here, you’re awarded a final cash prize based on one of three character symbols, and it’s possible to win up to 10,000x here!
Bonus Buy & Golden Bet
Bunny Heist includes multiple optional Bonus Buy/Golden Bet options. Playing the Golden Bet increases your stake by 50% for a doubled chance of landing the Free Spins and expanding Wilds. You can also pay 75x for instant entry into the Free Spins feature. Also priced at 75x is the Bonus Wheel game.
Pros
- Win up to 10,000x your bet.
- 4 Levels to the Bonus Wheel game.
- Sticky Wilds during the Free Spins can be very rewarding.
Cons
- The theme won’t appeal to everyone.
- The base game can feel pretty quiet without wilds.
- No respins are awarded when expanding wilds land during the free spins.
Bunny Heist Slot Review Final Thoughts
Bunny Heist is a slot that knows exactly what it wants to be: a feature-focused game with a slightly provocative theme, and a solid maximum win potential of up to 10,000x. The game’s expanding Wild mechanic does most of the heavy lifting, especially during the Free Spins, and it looks like Peter & Sons have taken inspiration from a number of different games here, mainly, Hotline, and Starburst.
We also like the fact that there’s a Bonus Wheel feature, however. This offers a more structured path to landing the game’s maximum win potential of 10,000x, and while, of course, reaching Level 4 is very rare, the potential is there at least.
We also like the fact that both bonus rounds can be purchased for 75. This is, we feel, a fair cost, and especially given the 10,000x maximum win potential. So, while Bunny Heist may not introduce a brand-new theme or mechanics we’ve never seen before, Peter & Sons has done a solid job with it, and with the studio’s top-tier visuals, we believe this will be fairly popular with players once released!
