Game Overview

Casino game provider Bullshark Games has once again partnered up with Hacksaw Gaming, this time to release Bullride Loot! This highly-volatile video slot includes Lucky Chest symbols, free spins, and a maximum win potential of 20,000x, so let’s find out whether it’s worth playing or not!

Theme & Design

Bullshark Games is one of the newer game developers, launching just a few years ago in 2023. Since day one, they’ve chosen to partner with Hacksaw Gaming, which is why all of their titles look so incredibly similar to Hacksaw’s own games. They don’t have a huge portfolio as of now, but some of their titles have enjoyed moderate success, like Jawsome Pirates and Holy Heist.

Bullride Loot uses the software provider’s signature look and feel, and the reels are placed at the centre of the screen, with the US’ famous Route 66 visible in the backdrop. A “Welcome to Bullride Loot” sign can be seen on the right-hand side of the reels, and the bull himself can be seen on the left-hand side; it’s a good-looking slot, but the reels feel a little small compared to the rest of the screen size, we feel.

Bullride Loot Gameplay & Bonus Features

Bullride Loot is designed around a five-reel, four-row layout, and there are 20 fixed paylines in play at all times. The game offers a default RTP of 96.29%, and you can wager bewteen €0.10 and €50 per spin.

Bullride Loot’s core mechanic revolves around cascading wins, where each successful cascade contributes to a running win multiplier. Once all cascades within a single spin are complete, the total multiplier is applied to the amount you managed to win. This multiplier then resets between spins.

The Lucky Chest is the key to unlocking Bullride Loot’s first “main” bonus. When it lands, it either adds between 1 and 4 wild symbols to the grid, or, boosts the Win Multiplier with a random value from 2x to 100x.

The Bullride Haul free spins bonus is triggered by landing 3 or 4 Scatter symbols in view, and this awards 8 or 10 free spins respectively. During this feature, every new scatter you land adds +1 free spin and removes the lowest available multiplier from the Lucky Chest’s ladder, so it’s a progressive-inspired bonus where the latter spins are the most (potentially) rewarding.

Finally, if you’re very lucky, landing five scatter symbols in view triggers the game’s super bonus – Carno Carnage free spins, which begins with 12 free games. At the start, the three lowest multipliers are already removed, making it much easier to form big wins in the beginning.

Bonus Buys

Bullride Loot offers four Bonus Buy/FeatureSpins modes. For 2x your bet you can trigger BonusHunt FeatureSpins, which increases your odds of landing the free spins bonus by 3x. For 50x, you can play Treasure Express FeatureSpins which guarantees at least 2 Lucky Chest symbols land per spin.

The Bullride Haul and Cargo Carnage bonus rounds can also be purchased directly at a cost of 100x and 250x your bet respectively.

Pros

  • Win up to 20,000x.
  • Two different free spins modes.
  • Super Bonus is easier to land than in many Hacksaw/Bullshark slots.

Cons

  • Reels look quite small against the background.
  • Nothing overly new or exciting.
  • Bonus Buy/FeatureSpins options unavailable in some markets.

Bullride Loot Slot Review Final Thoughts

Bullride Loot is another fairly decent release from Bullshark Games and Hacksaw Gaming’s ongoing partnership, and it’s a fast-paced, highway-themed slot that delivers what fans of the studio have come to expect: volatile gameplay, solid visuals, and an impressive maximum win potential of 20,000x.

We like the Lucky Chest mechanic, as it adds a decent degree of unpredictability to the base game, while the two different free spins modes keep things exciting bonus-wise. Now, interestingly, despite an impressive maximum win potential of 20,000x, it’s clear the Carno Carnage spins aren’t a “hidden” or “super” bonus, as such, given they cost “only” 250x to buy, and we imagine this makes it more likely that they’ll land naturally.

Of course, the game isn’t exactly groundbreaking. The core gameplay feels familiar, and much like Bullshark’s earlier titles, it leans heavily on Hacksaw’s well-established slots formula rather than doing much in the way of creating its own identity. Still, with crisp presentation, decent maximum win potential, and some interesting bonuses and features, it’s worth a play; no arguments there!
