Slot Overview
Big Bass Raceday Repeat is a horse-racing spin-off of the popular Big Bass formula from Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom. The slot combines money symbols, Man Wild collection mechanics, and a repeatable Free Spins feature. With a 96.51% RTP, high volatility, and a maximum win of 5,000x, it looks OK, but did the world really need yet another “Big Bass” game? Let’s find out.
Gameplay & Bonus Features
Big Bass Raceday Repeat is played on a familiar five-reel, three-row layout, and there are ten fixed paylines. Wins are paid from left to right; you can bet from €0.10 to €625, and the game offers an above-average RTP of 96.51%.
The game’s key mechanics revolve around Money symbols, Man Wilds, and Scatters. Money symbols carry random cash values, Man Wilds substitute for all symbols bar Scatters and Money values, and during the bonus they collect all visible Money symbols.
Free Spins are triggered by 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols, awarding 10, 15, or 20 spins respectively. If two Scatters land without a third, there is a random chance that additional Scatters are added via a respin-style mechanic, too. Now, before the bonus begins, a card is drawn from a selection of modifiers. This can increase Money symbol values, boost re-trigger multipliers, reduce the number of Man Wilds needed to re-trigger, or offer all of them.
During the Free Spins, every Man Wild that lands collects Money symbol values, and every fourth Man Wild collected retriggers the bonus, awarding 10 additional spins and increasing the Money collection multiplier. The multipliers go 2x, 3x, and then 10x. There are also some random modifiers possible during the bonus round.
Ante Bet & Buy Free Spins
An Ante Bet option allows you to play with a Bonus Repeat on for a Repeat Chance of every bonus, meaning, after some features, it will simply pay you the same amount from the bonus again. You can also buy directly into the Free Spins bonus for a cost of 100x, and a Super Free Spins that guarantees all modifiers are active for the feature.

Theme & Design
Since the original Big Bass Bonanza launched, we’ve seen pretty much every software provider under the sun trying to recreate the game in their own way. Reel Kingdom themselves have released dozens of spin-offs, from golf-themed titles to seasonal releases like Big Bass Halloween.
In some ways, we get it; they’re trying to ride the momentum of one of the most popular slot series ever made. On the other hand, do people really want more? Is Big Bass Raceday Repeat, really, what players have been asking?
Well, visually, at least, Big Bass Raceday Repeat is at least slightly different from most Big Bass games. The reels are no longer underwater; they sat in front of a racetrack instead, and there’s a pretty sunset-ridden sky with orange colours (like you very rarely see in the UK!)
It’s easy to play and navigate, but, like all Big Bass games, there’s simply not much “here” in terms of complexity of detail. Still, Big Bass Raceday Repeat runs smoothly, and it’s fully mobile optimised, too.
Pros
- Cool “Mega Modifiers” during the bonus round.
- Familiar Big Bass Bonanza mechanics.
- Repeat mechanic is somewhat unique.
Cons
- Fairly low maximum win potential of 5,000x.
- Base game is pretty boring.
- Repeat Chance can only be triggered by playing the Ante Bet.
Final Thoughts
Big Bass Raceday Repeat doesn’t reinvent the Big Bass formula, and it doesn’t really do much at all, in our opinion. The “Repeat Chance” mechanic is made to sound sexy - but in reality, it’s nothing more than a gimmick to make you bet more. The fact that you MUST play with the Ante Bet turned on, to have a shot at the Repeat Chance is just terrible in our opinion - and it really is enough, already, for us to mark this a solid 0/10.
Yes, there’s some familiar mechanics in play here, so if you (for some reason) are determined to win an award by playing every Big Bass game out there - well, we suppose you could have a few spins on Big Bass Raceday Repeat.
For us though, Big Bass Raceday Repeat is boring, cheap, misleading - just total rubbish. It’s the same mechanics we’ve seen a million times before, with the “Repeat Chance” gimmick added on - with the caveat that you actually have to bet more to even have a chance at it! Definitely not a game we’d recommend, and one we’re very much looking forward to never having to open again.
