Theme & Design

The Central American temple theme is one of the most recycled ideas in the slot world, but there are some providers, like Pragmatic Play and Play’n GO, who simply refuse to stay away from it. And, in fairness to them, mostly they know how to make it work.

Anaconda Gold places you at the foot of a towering stone pyramid, with vines, carvings, and slithering snakes visible around the reels. It looks good, but we feel the actual reels are a bit small compared to the game’s backdrop, but this is more nitpicking than anything else.

Anaconda Gold Gameplay & Bonus Features

Anaconda Gold is played on a six-reel, four-row layout. There are 4,096-ways-to-win, so you don’t need to worry about paylines. However, this reel setup can grow, too. Every time a winning combination triggers a tumble, the game adds +1 extra row, up to a maximum of 8 rows. 

When the cascades finish, the grid returns to its 6×4 layout. Anaconda Gold can be played for stakes between €0.20 and €240, and the default RTP is 96.54%.

During the base game you’ll find various modifiers, including random wilds that expand downwards and giant symbols. All paying symbols can appear as a 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, or 6×6 “giant” symbol. When it lands, it smashes downwards, crushing symbols beneath it before settling at the bottom of the grid. 

You’ll also see three special symbols: Money symbols (worth 1x-100x your bet), Collect symbols (that gather all Money symbols in view), and Anaconda symbols. When two Anaconda Symbols land anywhere on the reels, they connect via a random path, slithering across the grid and transforming every symbol they pass over. The transformations can turn them into regular symbols, which guarantees  win, or Money symbols.

If the final transformation creates Money Symbols, the last Anaconda becomes a Collect symbol, so you’re guaranteed to collect all of the values that have been created.

Anaconda Gold also contains a free spins bonus, and it’s triggered by landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so awards 10, 15, 20, or 25 free spins respectively.
