Game Overview
If you were around in the times of the Old West, would you have been an outlaw who was always game for a gunfight or a law-abiding citizen who would run to the sheriff at the first sign of trouble? Well, 4ThePlayer are going to test what you’re made of, as they demand you saddle up and join the gang in their 4TP Guns N’ Gold slot, a 6-reel game with 4,096 ways to win, multiple bonus features, and a maximum win of 12,000x.
Theme & Design
Whilst a large percentage of western-themed slots have you stuck in a saloon or fighting for your life in the dusty town streets, 4ThePlayer takes you out into the desert where canyons and cacti dominate the landscape, and vultures soar high looking for their next meal if you happen to become the victim of a stray bullet. It sure sounds like an adventure, doesn’t it? And if you’ve played 4ThePlayer slots before, you’ll instantly recognise the game interface, which, in this release particularly, does look very busy and full of features, backing up that whole adventurous theme perfectly.
Before we get into the gameplay, let’s fire some recommendations your way, and I’m going to keep it easy and stick with the western theme. So, gunslingers, when you’ve pulled off this latest heist, why not take your chances on the Wild Bounty Showdown demo from PG Soft, or our Wild West Gold Megaways demo slot by Pragmatic Play

4TP Guns N’ Gold Gameplay & Features
4ThePlayer’s 4TP Guns N’ Gold is a 6-reel, 4-row online slot with 4,096 ways to win and variable RTP rates from a high of 94%, dropping as low as 90.5%. The game offers a good selection of betting options, with a minimum stake starting at €0.10 a spin and reaching a maximum of €80.
Finally, we reach the gameplay, and 4TP Guns N’ Gold is a collection-style slot, with 4 pots above the reels which collect their own unique symbols on the reels and can trigger at any time. These are:
- Takedown: Collects cash prizes on a single reel.
- Nudge: Nudges cash prizes into view, which can then be collected.
- Multiplier: The multiplier on the pot will be applied to all cash prizes in view on the reels.
- Bonus: Will trigger the cash combo bonus spins.
Additonal features are:
Cash Combo Spins
Awards 5, 7, 10 or 15 spins. During Cash Combo Spins, only Cash Prizes, Collect Scatters (on the Golden Reel), and Bandit Bounty Prizes will appear on the reels.
Free Spins
Landing 3 or more scatters will trigger a minimum of 4 free spins. During this bonus, retriggers are possible, and all in-game features can be awarded.
Bonus Buy
Players wanting to get into the bonus rounds can use the bonus buy features to trigger the following:
- Cash Combo Spins: Costs 70x the bet.
- Free Spins: Costs 75x the bet.
- Collect Spin: Costs 125x the bet.
Pros
- A whole bunch of features to trigger.
- Max win of 12,000x.
- Three bonus buy options.
Cons
- An RTP that hits as low as 90.5%, OUCH.
- The teasing reel is a bit boring if you hit a few in quick succession, especially if it doesn't land.
4TP Guns N' Gold Slot Review Final Thoughts
The collector slots continue to march through in 2025, and whilst it's getting harder to rate these titles, I just couldn't get on with 4TP Guns N' Gold at all. I'm not sure if it's because the interface felt a little cluttered, the teasing reel annoying me after so many not hitting, or I've just played too many of these slots of late, but it's not a game I'd revisit again.
I will point out this is my opinion on the release, and reviewing slots is subjective, so whilst it might not be a game for me, you could try our demo and fall in love with it.
