Game Overview

Casino game provider TaDa Gaming presents 3 Witch’s Lamp, a beautifully designed slot where you can win five different jackpots! So, get your magic wand, spellbook and cauldron ready; we’re about to learn more about this title.

Theme & Design

TaDa Gaming has a number of “3” themed slots in their collection, and 3 Witch’s Lamp looks is another release that looks great, and it’s clear the software provider has spared no expense when it comes to the design. You’ll see the reels set in what looks to be a fantasy-themed mythical room, and three potion vials can be seen glimmering above the reels.

The soundtrack is calming and fits the theme, although one thing we’d point out is that, despite playing from a desktop device, the game only appears to render in portrait mode, which is well-suited for mobile play but not so much for desktop gamblers. If you’d like to explore a couple of other titles in TaDa’s “3 franchise,”, then go take a look at 3 Pot Dragons and 3 Lucky Piggy.

Gameplay & Bonus Features

3 Witch’s Lamp is designed around a familiar-looking five-reel, three-row layout, and there are 50 fixed paylines in play at all times. You can play the game for a variety of stakes, starting at a minimum bet of €0.20 and going up to a maximum bet of €200.

When the reels land one of the potion vials, there’s a chance of triggering one of the three free spins bonuses. Landing the green vial can trigger the green free games, landing the purple vial the purple free games, and the blue vial the blue free games. If you land a combination of vials, say, the green and purple ones, you trigger both green and purple free games.

During the green free games, landing any green vials during the bonus will increase the value of gold coin symbols on the reels, which, when they land, are credited as monetary wins. During the blue bonus, landing any blue vials will choose a random coin symbol on the board, and a re-spin feature is then triggered, with all coin values locking into place (this is your standard 3-re-spin feature).

In the purple bonus, landing purple vials will see jackpot symbols added to the reels: Witch’s Grand, Grand, Major, Minor, and Mini. The value of these localised jackpots can be viewed above the reels, and each time one of the values lands, it will be added to the corresponding meter for that jackpot. If you manage to fill that meter, you win the jackpot.

Bonus Buy

3 Witch’s Lamp also contains a bonus buy mechanic, which can be accessed by clicking the red gem button. There are three different bonus buy options available: Green Free Games costs 45x, Blue Free Games costs 70x, and if you want to trigger the Purple Free Games, it will cost you 100x.

Pros

  • Five localised jackpots can be won.
  • There are three different free spin bonuses.
  • Offers a bonus buy option in real money play.

Cons

  • The game displays in portrait mode only.
  • Jackpots are not progressive.
  • There are no base game features.

3 Witch's Lamp Slot Review Final Thoughts

3 Witch’s Lamp is a nice enough looking slot, and we like the fact that TaDa Gaming has incorporated no less than five localised jackpots into the mix. Sure, they’re not progressives, but it’s always good to see games with jackpots, even if they’re not going to be worth a huge amount (the biggest, Witch’s Grand, is worth just 1,000x, for example.)

As we mentioned earlier, when we were putting this review together, we played the game from a desktop device and found that the slot was only rendered in portrait mode. This makes it an ideal choice for those playing from mobile devices, but not so great if you’re playing from a laptop or PC.
