Theme & Gameplay

3 Coin Wild Tiger presents a classic Eastern-inspired theme, combining deep blue backgrounds, gold framing, and traditional Chinese symbols to make you really feel like you’ve stepped into China for yourself!

Above the reels, the Fortune Pots and jackpot meters are clearly displayed. There are four fixed jackpots, along with one progressive one, the Fortune Jackpot. In terms of presentation, 3 Coin Wild Tiger is decent enough, and it reminds us of other classics like 88 Fortunes Megaways and Chinese New Year 2.

3 Coin Wild Tiger Gameplay & Bonus Features

3 Coin Wild Tiger is played on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 243-ways-to-win active, so wins are formed by matching symbols from left to right. You can bet between €0.20 and €200 per spin. The game’s RTP, unfortunately, is not disclosed, although TaDa Gaming does state in the game’s help file that the jackpot contribution is 0.5%.

On reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, you’ll notice Wild symbols. This Wild substitutes for all paying symbols. The first “bonus”, of sorts, is the Symbol Expansion mechanic. When Tiger symbols appear on reels 2, 3, or 4 stacked, they expand to cover the entire reel. A multiplier selection feature is then triggered, where a multiplier of up to 10x (7x in the base game) is revealed and then applied to any wins for that spin.

Another core mechanic is the Ta Ji Da Li Coins, which fly into colour-coded Fortune Pots when they land in the main game. Up to three different pots can be triggered at the same time, and each time you land a coin, there’s a chance that the corresponding jackpot will be awarded.

If you land red coins, there’s a chance that you’ll trigger the Fortune Pot Bonus. During this feature, you simply select from face-down coins to reveal either Fúwá symbols or upgrade symbols. Matching three identical Fúwá symbols awards the corresponding jackpot amount, while revealing three Upgrade symbols increases the amounts of the fixed jackpots. This is where it’s possible to win the main Fortune Jackpot, which is a progressive.

There are also multiple types of free spins rounds available, and the version you’re awarded depends on the colour of the triggered pot. Different free spin rounds apply different expanding-symbol multiplier ranges, with higher-tier modes combining free spins with jackpot pick features, too.
