Slot Overview
3 Builder Piggies is a new release from AvatarUX, and this high-variance slot uses a 3×5 grid layout with 25 fixed paylines. The game offers three stackable Hold ‘n’ Win bonuses, Builder Frames, a jackpot mini-game, Insane Mode, and a maximum win potential of up to 5,000x, so it’s clearly following quite a familiar “Huff ‘n Puff” style vibe, but is AvatarUX’s attempt at the genre any good? Let’s find out.
Gameplay & Bonus Features
3 Builder Piggies is played on a five-reel, three-row layout with 25 fixed paylines, and the RTP is set at 96.02%, which is pretty much spot-on average in today’s iGaming market. You can bet from €0.15 to €450 per spin, and the game is available in two volatility modes: Normal, and Insane.
The core mechanic revolves around three different Hold ‘n’ Win bonuses, each of which is linked to one of the three piggies. Each piggy has its own coloured bonus symbol, and landing them triggers that specific piggy’s bonus round.
The Blue Bonus adds extra respins to the bonus; the Green Bonus expands the playing grid to a 5×5 layout; and the Red Bonus introduces the Builder Frames mechanic, where moving frames travel across the board each respin, combining with existing coins and increasing their values as the piggies hammer them.
If you choose to play with Insane Mode on, the game gets more volatile, and you start with more respins, a larger playing grid, and more Builder Frames, but, of course, it’s harder to actually trigger the bonuses, too.
Now, at the end of every bonus round, a Jackpot Mini-Game activates, too, and here, you’ll see coins flip over to reveal Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand jackpots, and it’s possible to win more than one jackpot here. If you manage to fill the whole screen with jackpot coins, you’ll instantly be awarded the Grand Jackpot, worth 5,000x!

Theme & Design
3 Builder Piggies is built around, you guessed it, a three little pigs-style construction theme, and visually, AvatarUX has done a pretty decent job here, we feel. You’ll see the three little piggies sitting around the reels, with each of them responsible for collecting their own coloured bonus symbols.
To the left-hand side of the reels, you’ll see the game’s four localised jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, and on the right-hand side, there’s a volatility select mode; you can choose between Normal and Insane.
If you’ve played games like Huff N’ More Puff, or Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand recently, you’ll pretty much know the deal here, and AvatarUX has taken the mechanics and used them pretty much in the same way, albeit with some core differences.
Pros
- Three stackable bonuses
- Builder Frames mechanic can produce some great hits
- Choose between Normal and Insane volatility profiles
Cons
- Fairly low maximum win potential of 5,000x
- The theme feels very overdone at this point
- The four jackpots are non-progressive
Final Thoughts
3 Builder Piggies is a fairly well-made little game from AvatarUX, although it's clearly a theme which has been milked a lot recently by providers. The game doesn't really offer anything new, at least when compared against every other similar title released today, and yes, while we do like the fact that you can toggle between normal and insane volatility modes, for us, this is more of a gimmick than an actual feature, as most players will probably just play with insane mode turned on anyway.
Now, yes, we do like the way that the builder frames mechanic has been designed, but even then it's pretty much identical to what we see in the Huff ‘n Puff series of games, and with a max win potential of just 5,000x, it feels a little on the lame side for a 2026 release.
It’s not the worst release in the world, but it’s clearly another AvatarUX attempt at leaving their 'POP' style of games in the past and trying something new, and for us, 3 Builder Piggies hasn’t done quite enough to warrant this being a 'must play', even if it is half-decent.
