Slot Overview

10,000X Gold 2 is a high-volatility sequel from 4ThePlayer, doubling down on the original’s multiplier-heavy design with higher max wins, more features, and a higher focus on stacking X symbols. With Boosting Fortunes prizes and a maximum win potential of 20,000x, it looks like a solid release, but is it? Find out in this Demoslot review.

Theme & Design

Let’s be blunt: 10,000X Gold 2 looks like a slot designed by someone who believes bigger numbers automatically lead to more excitement. The background is a pretty bland blur of blue, gold, and purple X-patterns that feels more like a placeholder loading screen than an actual finished, ready-to-release slot, and this is pretty much par for the course for 4ThePlayer.

Yes, they can create games with good mechanics, see titles like 7×7 Zeus and 90K Yeti Gigablox, but even these “flagship” games often look quite poor. It’s something the studio needs to address, in our opinion, if they want to be able to compete with the big boys today, like Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming, and Push Gaming.

10000x Gold 2 Gameplay & Bonus Features

10,000X Gold 2 runs on 5 reels, 4 rows, and 1,024 ways to win. Bets range from €0.20 to €20 per spin, and the RTP tops out at 94%, with a second, lower configuration also available.

The core gameplay revolves around Coins that increase reel-based Fortune Prizes and X symbols that form stacks and multipliers. There are five Fortune Prizes in total: Mini, Big, Super, Mega, and Ultra, and these sit above the reels. They increase whenever coins land, and if you trigger the Fortune Bonus, you’ll enter a pick-and-win feature where one of these prizes is guaranteed to be awarded.

Landing four X symbols on a reel triggers Stack Xpand, merging them into a single symbol with a multiplier that can combine across adjacent reels. The Free Spins bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view, awarding 8, 15, or 25 free games, respectively. During the bonus, Double X symbols appear, making it easier to land stacks. Wilds also expand to cover entire reels, with built-in multipliers, too.

Bonus Buy

10,000X Gold 2 contains two Bonus Buy options. For 100x, you can buy a guaranteed Stack Xpand Spin, and for 50x, you can buy direct entry into the Free Spins.

Pros

  • Decent maximum win potential of 20,000x.
  • Multiple mechanics that interact with one another.
  • Affordable Free Spins feature buy; 50x.

Cons

  • Flat, uninspiring visuals with no real theme.
  • Well below-average RTP of 94%.
  • Base game is very boring and repetitive.

10000x Gold 2 Slot Review Final Thoughts

10,000x Gold 2 is a classic case, in our opinion, of a sequel that gets pretty much everything wrong. Yes, the numbers are all bigger on paper; the maximum win potential is higher, and the multipliers can stack harder, but none of this impacts how creatively boring the whole thing feels. This is something we’ve seen a lot of from 4ThePlayer recently, and it just seems like they’re making games that are solely designed for the land-based US market.

There are some decent mechanics beneath the surface, but even this is pretty much overshadowed by the below-average RTP of 94%, and the base game is one of the most boring we’ve seen in a while; the game’s pretty much all about the bonus rounds, so don’t expect to hit much outside of them.

Yes, it has a few plus sides. The maximum win potential of 20,000x is solid, and the fact that the Free Spins feature buy is just 50x makes it accessible to those on lower budgets. Still, it’s a disappointing sequel, in our opinion, and it’s not a game we’ll be rushing to play any time soon!
