Today we’re joined by Danny Gordon Head of Studio at DEGEN Studios, to learn more about this exciting iGaming studio

Q1. For those who don’t know DEGEN, how would you introduce yourselves?
We’re a studio built by people who genuinely love games and want to bring something different to the slot space. We’ve spent years playing the same features and formulas, and we felt it was time to try new directions. DEGEN grew from that instinct.
Our first four releases were an introduction to what we enjoy creating: high-energy, theme-driven slots that aren’t afraid to take a few risks. They’re early steps, but they point toward the kind of experiences we want players to associate with us.
Q2. What is the creative process behind DEGEN games?
We create slots that are built by gamers, for gamers. Our creative meetings are like an explosion of energy.
We want to explore themes that other slot studios have been too scared to tackle. DEGEN is a creative environment where smart, agile minds are encouraged to bring their ideas to the table. We have a clear vision, and this is embodied through our first four releases.
Inspiration can be found anywhere. What we don’t want is the same old themes and mechanics being suggested. We want players to associate DEGEN with chaos and disruption.

Q3. Can you tell us about your slot releases so far?
Our slots all have a strong sense of identity. Whether it’s the chaos of Hacker’s Haven, the all-out war of Wild Gangs, the thumping energy of Rave Riot, or the treasure-hunting grit of Raider’s Riches, each title leans into a world with its own attitude. Different themes, same foundation: high volatility, creative energy, and a willingness to step outside the usual playbook.
Every release carries the DEGEN signature, and that’s very intentional. When players think of DEGEN, we want them to expect bolder ideas, sharper edges, and games that aren’t afraid to challenge the conventional.
We’re already seeing a loyal community form around that mindset. The response to our early titles shows there’s a real appetite for something that breaks routine, and we’re committed to building on that momentum.
Q4. What kinds of players are you creating slots for?
Players who want something with a bit more attitude. The ones who enjoy volatility, bold themes, and features that don’t feel predictable.
We know our games won’t suit everyone, and that’s fine. We’re building for the mavericks – the players who like being dropped into worlds with edge, energy, and a sense of identity.
If you want slots that colour outside the lines, that’s where DEGEN comes in.
Q5. What is next for DEGEN?
We’re continuing to build on the momentum from our first releases. Our roadmap leans into bigger ideas, sharper themes, and mechanics that push a little further than before.
The goal isn’t to shout the loudest. It’s to keep improving, keep surprising players, and keep finding new ways to challenge the usual rhythm of slot gaming.
We’re staying true to who we are: a studio with maverick roots and a clear direction. And there’s plenty more on the way.
